We hosted an international conference of the armed forces
On Thursday 11th and Friday 12th April, in cooperation between the Faculty of Sports Studies of Masaryk University and the Special Forces of the Czech Army, the 3rd Conference of the Security and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic took place. The conference was attended by six Special Forces from NATO member states, namely USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Latvia, Finland and Slovakia.
The conference itself was divided into closed and open sessions. The closed session was only for members of the various NATO armies and special forces, where the main topic was security research. The open section was not only for members of the armed forces of NATO member states and security forces but also for students of the Faculty of Sports Studies of Masaryk University. This session aimed to distribute the main idea, philosophical and practical framework of the Human Performance Programme.
Security and armed forces are organizations providing protection and defence at national and international level. Their importance in the security system is clear. Therefore, there must be consistent and systematic care for members of the security and armed forces and the subsequent building of an appropriate environment to ensure the optimisation and extension of their careers. For this reason, the conference focused on acquiring and sharing knowledge in the field of Human Performance.
It was a great honour for us to realize this conference at Masaryk University, Faculty of Sports Studies and become leaders in the Czech Republic in the "Comprehensive Optimization of Special Forces Operators" field.
